What this site is
Campaign material from SOS – Save Our Schools in favor of Measure 5A. It is not the Telluride R-1 school district and not an official government notice. The figures we quote come from the school district and from Colorado school-funding law, and we name them on the page.
What you may post
Use your real name where we ask for one, write only about your own experience, and do not invent facts or publish someone else's private information.
What we do not allow
Threats, harassment, slurs, bulk messaging, commercial advertising, pretending to be another person or organization, other people's personal details, and posts that have nothing to do with the schools.
We moderate what is sent
Every student story is read before it appears, and any submission — a story, a supporter name, a question — can be edited or removed by an organizer at any time, with or without notice.
Your name in public
If you join the supporter list you are letting the campaign show your name publicly, and the same is true of a student story posted under a first name.
The cost calculator
The estimate of what 5A would cost is our arithmetic on the county's published numbers. It is an estimate to help you understand the measure, not a tax bill; the County Assessor and Treasurer set what you actually pay.
No guarantees
The site is offered as it is. We try to keep it correct and running, but we cannot promise it will be error-free or always available, and we are not responsible for what other sites you reach through ours contain.
Responsibility for what you send
If something you post causes the campaign a problem, you stand behind it.
Changes
We may update this page and the website as the campaign moves; the date at the top shows when the terms last changed.
Where we are
These terms are governed by the law of the State of Colorado, United States.
